How it works
Ahead turns the small changes you notice in someone you love into one clear record — ready to share with a GP whenever you are. Here's the whole flow.
A repeated question, an unpaid bill, a wrong turn on a familiar road. When something gives you pause, open Ahead and pick the area it touches — there are nine everyday categories to choose from.
Jot what happened, when, and how often — a sentence is plenty. Each note lands in your change journal, building a quiet history you can look back on. No forms, no jargon, no scoring.
One moment proves nothing; a pattern tells a story. Ahead lines your notes up over weeks so you can see whether things are steady or shifting — turning scattered worries into something you can actually see.
When it's time to see a GP, Ahead pulls everything into one clear summary, organised by area and date. Share it with a 4-digit PIN-protected link — you control who sees it, and you can stop sharing any time.
Built for families
Every observation you record builds toward one clear picture — ready whenever it's time to loop in a GP, or anyone else you choose.
Quick notes from your own visits and calls — no forms, no app for anyone else to learn.
Your records are yours. Sharing happens only when you choose, by PIN-protected link you can switch off.
A single, dated record beats scattered memory or half-remembered phone calls — for you, and for the GP.
Good to know
No. Ahead never diagnoses or scores symptoms. It organises what you've observed so a doctor can interpret it. Many changes have other, often treatable causes — only a GP can work out what's going on.
Seconds. Pick a category, write a line or two about what happened and when, and you're done. It's designed to be as quick as sending a text.
Where you can, involving your loved one is kind and usually goes better than keeping it hidden. Ahead is a tool for families coordinating care, and we encourage openness with the person at the centre of it.
Ahead is free to use. See Pricing for the one optional paid extra.
